TIMES: 9 am till 4 pm each day. Assemble at front door and wait to be let in by security at 8.55 am

CATERING: Tea/coffee on arrival & morning tea and lunch provided

COST: $595 (includes GST) per participant. Discounts for more than two participants from the one organisation with a cost of $550 (includes GST) per person. Cancellations accepted and refunds available up to 7 days before start of course.

COURSE MATERIALS: Handbook, exercise sheets, handouts, and some ohs document templates will be provided. Just bring yourself and a willingness to participate in this highly interactive and practically based course.

BENEFITS: You will learn skills to make your workplace safer: learn about OHS legislation and what it means for your workplace; discuss communication, the role of OHS consultation and how to go about it, develop skills for OHS committee members and OHS representatives; examine problem solving techniques, OHS systems, incident investigation, running an OHS committee meeting, risk management, monitoring of the OHS system; conduct an OHS inspection of your own workplace Communication and consultation will not just be theorised, it will be practised confidentially in the group through listening, speaking, negotiating, problem solving, and consensus seeking.
